It’s time for Marvista’s first fundraiser of the year! This is a fun one! On September 29th, Students will lace up their sneakers and join their friends for a few laps around the field. They’ll have a great time and more importantly, you’ll help raise critical funds for the PTSA. The PTSA uses this money for field trips, classroom grants, technology, family activities and more of your favorite things at Marvista.
This year, every student gets a FREE Marvista Miler commemorative t-shirt thanks to our generous sponsors: Lavish Roots Catering, Helena’s Cleaner, Treat Cookies, XanFab, and Cam Grinders. PLUS, all students will also get a free reusable Marvista Miler water bottle provided by St. Anne’s Hospital! Thank you Sponsors!
PLEDGES: How to help raise the money? Our goal this year is $75 per student - but whether you raise $1 or $1000, you are helping make Marvista a better place by working as a team! All contributions are a flat donation to the event – not based on total laps. Students can ask family or friends to donate on their personal page, or use the envelope that came home with the packet to collect cash or check donations. Visit http://app.99pledges.com/fund/2023miler and search for your name. From this page you can email your potential donors, or share it on your social media pages to ask your network to donate. If you collect cash/checks please turn in your pledge forms and collected money on or before 9/29. PRIZES: Check the prize page that came home in backpacks last week for all the the great incentives! But remember - it’s not just about YOU - you’ll want to encourage your classmates, too. Each class can earn a popsicle party, so work together! Last year, we raised over $60,000 with this event. Our goal this year is $40,000! We need all hands on deck to make this a reality!
