It's October at Marvista!
We Did It, Marvista!
$45,000 Raised
On October 2, our entire school came out in colorful shirts to walk, run, skip, hop, and roll around our official Orca Running racecourse. The rain stayed away, our community showed up in a big way to cheer and volunteer, and perhaps the best news of all: we met our $45,000 fundraising goal!
The PTSA is incredibly grateful to every family member, friend, neighbor, sponsor, donor, volunteer, teacher, staff member, and student who helped us get there. These funds will help us continue providing free school supplies for every student, offset the rising cost of field trips for every class, offer free family events throughout the year, and provide our teachers and staff with critical classroom resources.
Thank you, Marvista community, for showing up for our students and making the Miler such an incredible success. We truly couldn’t do it without you!
Trunk or Treat is back! Friday, October 23, from 6-7:30 pm at Marvista. We can only make this event happen with the help of many, many volunteers, so please use the link below to sign up for hosting a trunk, setting up games, leading a game or station for a portion of the evening, or cleaning up. Many hands make light work and without volunteers we cannot ensure this event will happen. Responsible tween and teen helpers are encouraged to help - we love alumni student volunteers!
Marvista Community,
our next PTSA meeting is
Thursday, October 22nd, at 7 pm in the Marvista library. All are welcome and free childcare is provided.

We know parents and caregivers capture some of the very best moments at Marvista! If you have photos from field trips, school events, classroom activities, performances, Marvista clubs, or other school-related fun, we’d love to see them.
We do our best to feature a wide variety of students, grades, classrooms, and activities throughout the yearbook, so the more photos we have to choose from, the better!
